Track & Field, Netball, Football, Hockey, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Cadets, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Key Club, Art Club, I.S.C.F., Steel Pan, English & Debating Club, Red Cross, Maths Club, Foreign Language Club, Ballroom & Line Dancing, Choir, Drama Club, Greenlanders Environmental Club, Healthy Lifestyle & Cooking Club, Graphics Club, Junior Optimist Club, Drumming. The School also participates in the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES). Other Information: Strong emphasis on Career and Guidance Counselling and Parent-Teacher Association. JOOI Club - Full name, Junior Octagon Optimist International, started in 2010 under the guidance of teacher, Mrs. Pauline Cox (now retired). With a current membership of 22, the club focuses its activities on the youth exclusively. These activities are both school and community based projects. The latest school activity was the painting and refurbishing of the school's English Resource Room. Other activities in the past year include: a movie night, beach cleanups, picnics, presentation of a hamper to Thelma Vuaghan Home at Christmas and attendance at Optimist Caribbean Conference (October 2014). The club currently meets in the English Resource Room on Mondays at 12:00p.m. The current president is Rebecca Jones of form 3V. Teacher Mrs. K. Waithe-Gibson is advisor to the club, with Miss. M. Parris, Mrs. D. Jones and Mr. G. Carmichael as the other staff members involved. The club is an affiliate of the Optimist Club of Barbados North. Membership is open to all students.
